In Canada, field and tab data collection specialist Consumer Contact has expanded into the States, with the opening of its first US-based call centre in Cheektowaga, New York.Consumer Contact conducts more than 1 million customer loyalty interviews each year from its existing five call centers. The firm, which specializes in continuous tracking, customer satisfaction and B2B research, employs around 80 full time staff and more than 1,200 interviewers.
As part of its expansion plans, the company has established 'Consumer Contact US' - an affiliate company that will manage the establishment of operations across America.
Its first US center is equipped with 106 call stations, adding to the 470 stations based at its Canadian operations.
'As our business expands in the US as well as Canada, we feel now is the ideal time to open a US call center,' explains CEO Derek Bildfell. 'After careful consideration, we found Buffalo to be an ideal location with great infrastructure, a large pool of talented and motivated potential employees and the added benefit of being close to our head office in Toronto, Ontario.'
