German user and brand research specialist Eye Square has opened a new office in London, led by usability specialist Gareth Tuck.Eye Square - which focuses on user experience, ad effectiveness and shopper research - uses and develops neuro-psychological methodologies such as eye tracking, galvanic skin response and EEG to uncover consumers' unconscious motivations.
Last month, the firm opened a new office in Tokyo, as a base from which to support its Asian clients. The company also has offices in Berlin and Hamburg.
Tuck will represent Eye Square as UK Director in London. He specialises in eye tracking, user experience and shopper research, and most recently worked for WPP-owned consumer behaviour firm Red Dot Square Solutions. Before this, he served as a Usability Consultant at Bunnyfoot, and as a Researcher at Faraday.
The firm says that opening the offices in London and Tokyo mark the first steps in its expansion programme, and hints that it will open in another international location soon.
