Ideasicle Opens for Marketing Idea Generation

In the US, ad agency veteran Will Burns has launched Ideasicle; a new company that is staffed by a worldwide team of creative experts, briefed to come up with revenue-generating marketing-ideas for clients.

Will BurnsFor his new venture, Burns has assembled the team from top tier agencies and clients. Their ideas are captured using a proprietary technology platform which enables them to post their ideas in time-deferred ways from iPhones, iPads or PCs.

From this platform, the team can bounce ideas off each, and collaborate or build on other members' suggestions.

While the 17 team members' identities are anonymous, Burns says that they have 320 combined years in the marketing/ad industry, with the majority of them having previously won industry awards.

'It's not crowd sourcing, it's expert sourcing,' states Burns. 'These are the best of the best, and I've worked with every one of them personally over the years. We all have a shared belief that all new revenue starts with an idea - and not just any idea, either.'

Burns' background includes nearly six years at Arnold Worldwide, and stints in account directing and business development roles at Boathouse, Mullen, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, Leonard/Monahan and HBM Creamer.
