Synovate Names Heads in China and US

Synovate has appointed Huey Lam as Commercial Director of Synovate Retail Performance in China, and Will Gordon as Senior Vice President, Brand & Communication in the US.

Huey Lam and Will GordonSynovate Retail Performance ((formerly SPSL) provides retailers with key performance indicators to measure, manage, and improve customer volume, sales opportunities, conversion rates, promotional activity, and in-store lay-outs.

Lam joins from Experian Footfall China, where as General Manager, he established operations in the country and helped build relationships with clients.

Based at Synovate in Shanghai, Lam will be responsible for driving the operation and its real-time customer feedback platform ViewsCast across the region.

'Huey is one of the instrumental retail experts who opened up the retail footfall market in China,' states Edwin Song, Executive Director of Synovate China Capabilities. 'His proven track record will be valuable in propelling the Synovate Retail Performance operation forward in China.'

Separately in the US, Gordon joins with more than 25 years' experience in marketing, branding, and communications. Most recently, he worked at Millward Brown's brand strategy consultancy Optimor, as SVP and Chief Research Officer. Before this, he held senior positions at Prophet Brand Strategy, Mercer Management Consulting, and Accenture.
