Havas Digital Hires Data and Analytics Head

Global interactive network Havas Digital has appointed former Microsoft exec Ciaran McConaghy as its UK-based Head of Data and Analytics, with a remit to champion all emerging forms of data analysis, site analytics and data modelling.

Ciaran McConaghyHavas Digital, which is part of media buying network Havas Media, offers a portfolio of services which includes buzz research and monitoring, search engine optimization, app development, ad trafficking and campaign reporting.

McConaghy (pictured) joins from Microsoft, where as Head of Advertiser Analytics (EMEA), he set up and led a team delivering insights and solutions to many of Europe's leading digital advertisers. Prior to that, he served as Reporting Manager at '3' mobile phone network, Strategy Analyst at Yoomedia, Media Analyst at UPC Media, and Analyst at MediaTel Group.

The company has also appointed Damien Healy as Head of Technology, with a remit including working with partners to integrate third party data. He previously served as EMEA Operations Director for Atlas Enterprise, prior to its acquisition by Microsoft.

The duo will work across the two Havas Digital specialist media business units, Arena Quantum and Media Contacts, reporting to Dan Clays (Arena Quantum, MD) and Paul Frampton (Media Contacts, MD).
