Webrank Launches Social Media Analytics Tool

In the US, web site audit specialist Webrank has launched a social media analytics tool which tracks conversations about clients and their brands, scans them for sentiment and summarises with an aggregate score.

Another tool for tracking social media mentionsThe new Webrank Analytics service has been designed to help businesses understand what is being said about them, their products and brands on the social web. Resulting data can be viewed by time line and compared against other keywords.

Using the Webrank tool, clients can view what consumers are saying about their products and brands on sites such as Twitter, Facebook, blogs and forums from a single location - their Webrank page - with one click.

Each comment, blog post, tweet and review is analyzed for sentiment and relevance, and is given a Webrank score which provides a snapshot of the aggregate sentiment of all related comments.

In addition, the new solution enables users to track news and events relating to their business and industry through daily updates delivered via their dashboard. They can also follow their competitors and receive daily updates on news and developments.
