Rentrak Hires TV Research Veteran Brad Nimmons

US-based multi-screen measurement specialist Rentrak has appointed TV industry research veteran Brad Nimmons as Director of Client Services, responsible for the day-to-day management of key client relationships in the eastern United States.

Brad NimmonsNimmons joins with more than 20 years' TV and digital media experience. Most recently, he served as Director of Research for Rentrak client Media General, where he oversaw 18 TV stations, more than 25 daily newspapers, and 80 web sites.

Before this, he worked as Marketing Research Director at WFLA-TV, and as an Account Executive with Nielsen Media Research. Earlier in his career, Nimmons was a cartoonist and reporter for The Florida Times, and a disc jockey for two different Florida-based radio stations.

In addition, he serves on numerous boards including the Media Ratings Council (MRC); the National Association of Broadcasters' COLTAM (Committee On Local TV Audience Measurement) Group; the Television Bureau of Advertising's Multi-Platform Committee; and he is a member of the Open Mobile Video Coalition research subcommittee.

In his new role, Nimmons will help TV stations and ad agencies build ad revenue and audience through the firm's set of audience measurement products and services.
