ProsperChina Debuts InsightCenter Dashboard

Market intelligence specialist ProsperChina has rolled out a solution which collates responses from more than 19,000 consumers who participate in its quarterly survey, and serves them up in a customizable dashboard.

Casting light on the Chinese consumer...US-based ProsperChina is part of business acceleration specialist Prosper, whose companies also include BIGresearch.

Prosper has been involved in business development activities in the China market since 1995, where it works with large multinational companies to help them enter the market or develop a strategy for growth. The firm is also a joint venture partner with Survey Sampling International (SSI) and CITIC Guoan Beijing, through which it develops a pool of respondents for research surveys in China.

ProsperChina's new InsightCenter takes insights from a quarterly survey which monitors the purchase behavior and media consumption of Chinese consumers aged between 18 and 54 years old. It also examines attitudes about consumer confidence, savings rates, and the economy.

Users of the dashboard can view trends over the last 22 quarters by consumer groups, by choosing segments from a drop-down menu.
