JICREG Names Donaldson as CEO

In the UK, the Newspaper Society's Head of Research and Insight Keith Donaldson has been appointed as the new Chief Executive of the Joint Industry Committee for Regional Media Research (JICREG), which provides readership currency for the UK's regional printed press and associated web sites.

Donaldson will take over on 1st August from Roger Holland, who is stepping down after 20 years with the Committee. Donaldson previously worked in media research and planning roles at companies including the Financial Times, BBC World News, Time Magazine and Saatchi & Saatchi London.

In a statement, JICREG Chairman Howard Scott said the CEO role had 'unsurprisingly' attracted a number of very high calibre candidates, adding: 'In appointing Keith Donaldson, we have an outstanding individual. He has an accomplished background in media and media research, and is ideally suited to continue the development of JICREG as a leading audience measurement organisation.'
