Yoyi Media Completes $20m Series B Financing

In China, targeted online ad and marketing solutions firm Yoyi Media has completed a $20m Series B round of funding, which it will use to enhance its media advertising platform and to expand its sales force and marketing network.

Junfeng LiuFounded in 2007, Yoyi Media's three products - YO-Focus, YO-Crazy, and YO-Target - have been developed to help marketers reach targeted audiences based on their demographics, behavior, expectation, time, income level, personal interests, and geographic location. The company has operations in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

This latest round of funding has been led by Oak Investment Partners, with continued participation from existing investors Steamboat Ventures and Gobi Partners. As part of the deal, Oak Investment's General Partner Ren Riley will join Yoyi's Board of Directors.

'Yoyi has big ambitions and has been executing against some pretty aggressive benchmarks,' states Riley. 'The company is changing the definition of online marketing to reach and influence customers, and we believe there is a significant opportunity to create value with superior technology and a result-driven approach.'
