New Penton Division to Tap Database of 5 Million

In New York, B2B comms agency Penton Media has launched Penton Marketing Services; a division which will use the company's proprietary database of more than five million businesspeople to access an audience willing to participate in market research studies.

Kim Paulsen and George AssimakopoulosPenton Media offers corporate communications services through print and electronic newsletters and magazines, and through webinars.

As well as market research, the firm's new Marketing Services division will provide a wide range of services such as web analytics, SEO, social media, lead generation tools, and mobile and video marketing services. It will also use data from its 'Pulse of the Market' polls to conduct audience analysis, brand building and product concept testing.

The new team is headed by Penton Media SVP Kim Paulsen, with support from George Assimakopoulos, VP of Digital Media Services and the former CEO of online marketing firm EyeTraffic Media, which Penton Media acquired last month.

Paulsen says the division is 'committed to delivering highly targeted services focused on real-world results that will propel [its clients'] businesses forward.'
