Global Subscription Option for 'Glimpses'

April 27 2011

London-based social and consumer trend forecasting firm the Trajectory Partnership has expanded its Glimpses online insight resource with the addition of a subscription service including trends across twenty countries.

Paul FlattersFounded in 2008, the firm bought the Glimpses trends database last summer from research, consultation and communication charity The Tomorrow Network.

The database, which was designed to provide a 'map' of recent social, economic and demographic trends, now features the 'Glimpses Global Monitor'. This addition enables organisations to make decisions regarding new product or service launches, expansion into new territories, or the development of multinational communications plans. It also promising enhanced understanding of the scale and direction of trends both in individual markets and around the world.

A fieldwork programme of 60,000 interviews has been carried out by online panel specialist Research Now, and the resulting data can be matched with academic studies of trends to provide a more complete picture of global changes.

'We are excited by the service's potential to transform how organisations access and use insight,' states Paul Flatters, Managing Partner of the Trajectory Partnership. 'Our analysis team will be working directly with clients looking to launch new products and communications programmes internationally. We will also be building a body of evidence accessible to subscribers for day-to-day use, bringing organisations around the world closer to their customers.'
