TNS Appoints Ad Industry Veteran as MD in Thailand

TNS has appointed ad agency veteran and former Lowe and Partners Chief Strategy Officer Abhijeet Dutta Ray as Managing Director of Thailand.

Dutta Ray's 25-year career has spanned a number of marketing disciplines, and has also focused on commissioning and using market research and working in collaboration with MR agencies.

For the past 11 years, he has worked for Lowe Thailand, where latterly he was responsible for the Strategic Planning team and function. Prior to this he was part of the management team that founded TV firm ASTRO in Malaysia. Earlier, he held media, planning and strategy roles at JWT, Leo Burnett, Bates, BBDO and McCann Erickson across several Asian markets.

In his new post, Dutta Ray will report to Neerja Wable, the CEO overseeing India, Sri Lanka, Thailand and the Philippines.
