Synovate Boosts Indian Leadership

Synovate has announced three senior hires in India. Ruma Sengupta joins as Director of Insights, Sachin Chaudhari rejoins as Research Director, and Avijit Ghosh becomes an AD in the Motoresearch team.

Sengupta has 15 years' experience from a variety of sectors, and worked previously as a Business Head at IMRB International, after spells at Adlabs Films, UB Group, Ranbaxy, ORG MARG and the British High Commission.

Chaudhari left Synovate a year ago and spent a year at Millward Brown. His previous roles have also included TNS Dubai, IMRB International, AC Nielsen and the Aga Khan Rural Support Programme in Gujarat.

Automotive specialist Ghosh, who will manage the Synovate Motoresearch business in Mumbai, joins from Frost and Sullivan in Toronto and has also worked with Chennai and Cygnus Business Consulting & Research.

Synovate India MD Mick Gordon says the appointments are highly strategic in a fast-growing business, commenting: 'These new senior level recruits have a wealth of experience, which we will leverage in further enhancing our client delivery mechanisms.'
