Experian Hires MD for UK and Ireland

Former Logica CEO Craig Boundy is to join data giant Experian as Managing Director for the UK and Ireland, responsible for further growing the firm's business across its Credit Services, Decision Analytics, Marketing Services and Interactive business lines.

Experian provides data and analytical tools which help businesses manage credit risk, prevent fraud, target marketing offers and automate decision making. The firm employs approximately 15,000 people in 41 countries and has its corporate headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, with operational headquarters in Nottingham, UK; California, US; and São Paulo, Brazil.

In June, its Marketing Services division partnered with Kantar Media to provide clients with analysis of their audiences by household attributes such as income levels.

Boundy joins from Logica, where he had served as CEO Global Operations since 2007. Prior to this, he was COO at Cable & Wireless in Europe, the US and Asia; and COO at Energis.

In his new role, he reports to President and COO Chris Callero, who comments: 'Craig's proven leadership skills, track record in delivery and executive management experience will further strengthen our business.'

Boundy takes up his new post next January.
