Pyramid Launches Brazilian Mobile Market Service

US-based telecoms industry specialist Pyramid Research has launched a new service that combines primary research conducted among consumers with the firm's analysis of the Brazilian mobile market.

Pyramid is the telecoms research arm of the Light Reading Communications Network, and offers research for emerging markets, technologies and business models, powered by market forecasts for more than 100 countries.

The new Consumer Insight Series includes market forecasts, a market analysis report and a webinar delivered by a Pyramid analyst. The end-user research component is derived from interviews with 1,400+ consumers across five regions and four income segments, focusing on current and projected end-user consumption habits and preferences, as well as factors around voice plans, data plans, apps, content and devices.

Analysts also interview execs working for service providers, content and app providers, device manufacturers and regulators, in order to validate results from the end-user survey process.
