Edbrooke Promoted to President at Healogix

In the US, Horsham, PA-based pharma and biotech consultancy Healogix has announced the appointment of Tim Edbrooke as President and Chief Operating Officer. Company Founder Harris Kaplan will remain as CEO and work in a strategic capacity.

Edbrooke joined the company as Chief Business Officer in 2009 and led it through a significant growth phase. Before this he was CEO of Genactis Inc and also worked at TVG, Inc., GfK Healthcare and Quintiles Transnational.

Kaplan said: 'Tim has done a terrific job of successfully moving Healogix forward in a difficult spending climate. He has demonstrated the ability to assemble a diverse and extremely talented team while delivering a level of client service and satisfaction unmatched in our market.'

Speaking of his change in role, Edbrooke said: 'Our clients are facing one of the most challenging times in our industry's history: access to physicians is getting even more difficult, payers' influence is increasing, and the complexity of variables that impact prescribing is only compounding.
