UK-based digital research and analytics firm Trufflenet has expanded to Australia though a partnership with PR agency Professional Public Relations (PPR).Trufflenet, which was founded in 2006 as Newscounter, provides information on how online communities respond to media stories. Results from continual online scans of search terms and social media are examined by analysts who then produce a tailored sentiment analysis for individual clients, capturing subtleties that might be missed in a purely automated search.
The partnership will offer the same combination to Australian businesses, giving them insights on sentiment, tone and favourability of their brands, products and services.
Melbourne-born Mark Donohue, Head of Analytics at Trufflenet, comments: 'The availability of quality digital intelligence services to the Australian market is long overdue and I am incredibly excited to be in Australia, to launch our pioneering partnership with PPR.'
The new service, which runs alongside Trufflenet's existing suite of digital monitoring tools, has been launched across PPR's eight offices in Australia and New Zealand.
