Affinnova Hires Bhagwat to Lead FS Practice

Concept testing and forecasting software specialist Affinnova has appointed former TNS researcher Sarita Bhagwat to lead its Financial Services practice.

Affinnova helps clients identify concepts with the best potential from a wide range of options, then compares them to relevant benchmark and competitor concepts based on consumer preference. In November, the firm announced plans to hire 70 new employees in 2012.

Bhagwat joins with more than fifteen years' market research and consulting experience, with particular expertise in innovation and product development, product line strategies and market assessment.

Most recently, she served as Head of Innovation and Product Development for the Financial Services Sector for TNS Custom Research, before which she led the Financial Services Sector for TNS in India. Prior to this, Bhagwat was a Principal Consultant at Abt Associates.

Affinova's President and CEO Waleed Al-Atraqchi says Bhagwat's experience and leadership will allow his firm to deliver 'even stronger results' for clients in the financial services industry.
