SPS Snaps Up Dublin's 20-20 Insights

Business customer solutions specialist Swiss Post Solutions (SPS) had acquired Irish customer insights and analytics firm FMC Insights, which operates under the name 20-20 Insights and specialises in customer retention. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Mike BrinnDublin-based 20-20 Insights focuses on generating insight from shopper behaviour data gathered from loyalty programmes, sales, promotions and market research. It focuses on customers in the retail and consumer goods market in Ireland and the UK.

The company is managed by former Nielsen execs Mike Brinn (pictured) and Connor Cantwell, along with software developer Frank Sweeney.

SPS produces client bonus programmes, loyalty cards, coupons and competitions, as well as solutions for optimizing the relationship between business customers and their customers in the fields of billing and payment, e-commerce, customer relationship management, and value and security cards. The two firms have previously worked together and SPS says that as part of the deal it will take over 20-20 Insight's proprietary software to enable it to expand its offer in the UK customer retention segment.
