January 26 2012

Amsterdam-based Olery, a specialist in online reputation monitoring for the leisure sector, has raised $1m (EUR 750k) in a funding round from an undisclosed source, which it will use to build its presence in the US, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific, and improve and launch products.

Kim van den WijngaardOlery helps clients in the leisure and hospitality sector track what is being said online, engage with customers, and measure satisfaction with performance. Its tools automatically collect guest reviews and ratings on more than 100 web sites, enabling hoteliers to know what is being said about them on social media sites, while monitoring and benchmarking performance against competitors through the firm's Guest Experience Index.

Kim van den Wijngaard, CEO and co-founder of Olery, comments: 'We plan to use our new funding to expand our international sales, scale development efforts, and bring to market a game-changing new product that we plan to announce in early March.'
