Acquisitions Join New inVentiv Division

Following yesterday's FTC clearance for its acquisition of two former SDI Health subsidiaries, inVentiv Health's MR and analytics division Campbell Alliance has announced the formation of a new subsidiary, Encuity Research, and the appointment of Michael Turner as its General Manager.

Based in Newtown, PA, the new company will provide a range of services to the pharmaceutical and biotech industry in a number of specific areas, including custom quantitative research and analytics, qual research, opinion leader identification and mapping, syndicated audits including the Metropolitan Area Promotional Audit, contact lens trend monitor VisionCare, and a wide range of SDI Health medical and promotional audits.

Campbell CEO Nader Naeymi-Rad comments: 'The audit businesses acquired from IMS will be combined with our existing market research and analytics service lines to create a very robust business that will drive accelerated growth for us in the market research segment. In addition, Encuity Research's services will provide Campbell Alliance and our parent company, inVentiv Health, with new insights for clients that will enhance our ability to deliver powerful solutions.'

Turner (pictured) has spent the past six years with Campbell Alliance, most recently as a Vice President in its Brand Management practice. Prior to joining the company, he held consulting and leadership positions at marketRx (now Cognizant) and ZS Associates. Naeymi-Rad said Turner had 'played a key role in our growth, demonstrated great commitment, and delivered success.'
