Facebook Insight Platform Prosodic Raises $1.4m

In the US, predictive analytics specialist Prosodic has raised $1.4m in seed funding to roll out its social performance platform, which contains data for more than 330 million Facebook Page Likes.

Leigh FatzingerLaunched last year, Seattle, WA-based Prosodic develops software to help brands determine when, what and how much content to present to their audiences, up to seven days in the future. Clients can monitor conversation 'performance' as it happens, while also anticipating audience presence and content performance through predictive analytics and behavioral intelligence. The platfom is geared to brands and publishers with substantial Facebook audiences.

Seed round investors include Bellevue, venture capital firm Ignition Partners and several angel investors.
