US-based app performance analytics provider App47 has completed a $750k second round of funding from a group of investors which includes Sid Banerjee, the co-founder and CEO of text analytics firm Clarabridge.App47 specializes in the mobile app management (MAM) lifecycle, helping organizations to deploy, manage and analyze mobile apps, while ensuring user data privacy and optimizing mobile user experience.
The latest funding, which adds to the $1m raised in January 2011, has been led by Banerjee, Valhalla Partners, Braun Jones, and Thermopylae Sciences & Technology's President Abraham Clark, with support from App47 co-founders CEO Chris Schroeder and Chairman Sean McDermott.
Banerjee says the firm is an attractive investment because it provides the 'right mix' of easing the deployment of mobile apps and giving access to the intelligence to refine and analyze their performance.
Schroeder adds: 'Our MAM lifecycle solution is what sets us apart. Customers are seeing tremendous value in a solution that provides them with the ability to quickly deploy, manage and analyze their mobile apps from a single vendor.'
