WorldOne Integrates Treato Patient Intelligence

Healthcare research specialist WorldOne has integrated data from online patient data specialist Treato into its own MedLIVE FastReponse market intelligence platform, promising clients access to aggregated real-time patient feedback.

Using patent-pending natural language processing and proprietary patient language dictionaries, Treato explores what patients have written about their medications and conditions on social media sites. To date, the firm has analyzed more than 1.1 billion patient posts, covering 24,000 conditions and medications.

This data will be integrated into the MedLIVE self-service portal, through which clients can send quick 'PULSE' surveys to targeted segments of WorldOne's community of 1.8 million healthcare professionals. WorldOne says clients will now be able to analyze their survey results with patient perceptions of topics such as patient-reported drug use, drug switching, and positive and negative drug experiences.
