SymphonyIRI Hires Former P&G Grocery Specialist

Retail analysis giant SymphonyIRI has appointed former Procter & Gamble grocery specialist Beverly Grant as President of Retail Solutions, with a remit to enhance and implement the company's broader US retail strategy.

Before joining, Grant (pictured) spent 26 years at P&G in various roles, including VP, GM and Chief Channel Officer, North America Grocery Channel; and Global Business Director of Beauty, Market Strategy and Planning, Food, Beverage, and Pet Nutrition. Prior to P&G, she gained experience in the food and beverage channel at Kroger, as well as in the healthcare, oral care and beauty categories. She began her career at Standard Oil.

Grant is also is involved in several industry trade associations, serving on the Food Marketing Institute's advisory board and the Industry Affairs and Trading Partner Alliance committees for the Grocery Manufacturers Association.

In her new role, she will report to Mark Parise, President, IRI, who comments: 'Winning with retailers is about establishing SymphonyIRI as a differentiated strategic partner. Beverly's extensive experience working with C-level retailer executives will be essential to enhancing our retail execution value proposition.'
