Concurrent Debuts 'Multiscreen Media Data Intelligence'

August 31 2012

Multi-screen video delivery firm Concurrent has launched a cross-service video analytics tool called 'Multiscreen Media Data Intelligence', for measurement of both traditional and TV everywhere video services.

Multiscreen Media Data IntelligenceConcurrent, which has offices in North America, Europe and Asia, provides consumers with access to content on any screen, while offering media stakeholders a view of the consumer video experience.

Its new platform has been developed to monitor and analyze how customers are interacting with content shown across online devices and through traditional video-on-demand (VOD) linear, interactive, and DVR services.

It also features detailed system performance monitoring, which Concurrent says provides a framework for analyzing IP and CDN network performance and improving overall quality of service.

Matt Smith, VP of Strategy and Business Development, comments: 'Our ability to provide real-time, census-level information on video consumption behavior across screens provides operators with the tools they need to understand how viewing habits are changing, including how targeted ads are performing on each screen. Using our Multiscreen Media Intelligence platform, operators can accurately measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and leverage this information to generate higher CPMs.'
