KJT Unveils Plans for European Expansion

Rochester, New York-based pharma and healthcare researcher KJT Group has announced that it is planning to open a European office in the Netherlands in 2013.

KJT Group, which was established in 2007 by Kenneth Tomaszewski (pictured) after a 10 year career at Harris Interactive, employs more than 30 full-time staff in New York, Philadelphia, Texas and South Carolina. Last year, the firm launched a new Green Research Practice (GRP), for organizations that focus all or part of their business on energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Speaking in an article on the DemocratandCronicle.com yesterday, Tomaszewski explained: 'With the globalization of healthcare, the companies we work with tend to be headquartered here or in Europe, but a lot of the projects will be global in nature, where there's shared methodology and shared templates. That opens up a big opportunity.'

The firm recently added the role of CFO to the remit of Research Director Michaela Gascon, and the title of Chief of Staff to the responsibilities of VP of Research Lynn Clement.
