Global marcoms agency Draftfcb has acquired pharmaceutical marketing company Hudson Global for an undisclosed sum.Among a range of digital media, programming and medical strategy services, Hudson offers strategic marketing and post-marketing research for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. It will now be integrated into Draftfcb Healthcare, allowing the division to offer a complete range of programs and analytics to the combined roster of clients.
Draftfcb - which is part of the Interpublic Group - says the acquisition will bolster its strategic, analytic and technological focus, while creating a 'top 5' healthcare offering in the US.
Hudson will retain its name and staff of 55+ employees, led by co-founder and CEO/President Robert Blink, and Jason Goldklang, co-founder and EVP. Blink will report directly to Draftfcb Healthcare and Draftfcb New York CEO Dana Maiman.
