Digital Media Firm Buys Analytics Specialist IO

October 8 2012

US-based Digital Technology International (DTI) has acquired business intelligence and analytics firm IO Intelligence, thus extending its range of digital solutions.

DTI Buys...DTI offers clients in global news media digital audience engagement, digital revenue expansion and digital cost performance, helping them deliver targeted news and advertising through the Web, print, mobile and social media.

The two firms have been partners for more than seven years, with IO Intelligence helping to drive DTI's Circulation InSight and DTI Advertising InSight products, which provide information for publishers. The staff of IO will be integrated into the new parent company as its DTI InSight team, remaining in their current location in Lancaster, PA, and will make use of IO's InterSystems DeepSee enterprise-wide analytics software.

IO's President, Jim Williams, comments: 'As a long-time, fully integrated business partner with DTI, IO Intelligence Systems, Inc. is proud to announce our purchase by DTI... We believe that we'll be able to work even more seamlessly with our existing customers and better enhance the InSight reporting systems through deeper access to core development teams at DTI.'
Dan Paulus, President of DTI, says the buy 'adds strategic expertise and a fast growing revenue source' to his company, adding: 'customers are increasingly using management dashboards and applying business intelligence and analytics tools to improve their business performance.'

DTI is headquartered near Salt Lake City, has offices elsewhere in the United States and in the UK, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Finland, France, Germany and Panama, and is online at www.dtint.com .
