NexJ Systems Buys Broadstreet Data for $8.2m

Toronto, Canada-based software provider NexJ Systems Inc. has announced the acquisition of Broadstreet Data Solutions Inc, whose services include business intelligence and analytics as well as data governance, management and integration; and app development.

William Tatham and Tim StanleyNexJ will pay up to c.$8.2m in a combination of cash and common shares, including certain earn-out provisions.

Broadstreet President Tim Stanley joins NexJ as SVP of Global Sales. His firm's BI and analytics offer includes portfolio performance dashboards for financial services clients; and public health analytics for disease screening.

NexJ CEO William Tatham says Broadstreet is a strategic complement to his firm's business and all its target markets, and adds 'significant expertise in data management, analytics and mobile solutions'. He concludes: 'We are also very pleased to be strengthening our management team with new sales leadership in Tim Stanley, and his industry-leading team.'
