Ad Measurement Agency Adometry Raises $8m

January 22 2013

US-based cross-platform ad measurement agency Adometry has raised $8m in Series D financing, which it plans to use to extend its product 'roadmap', hire more staff, and expand into new markets.

Paul PellmanFounded in 2008, Austin, TX-based Adometry processes tens of billions of ad impressions, refining and developing machine-learning algorithms that track and enhance ad campaign performance.

In 2011, the firm was acquired by click fraud detection firm Click Forensics, while it also launched an analytics suite to help online advertisers measure campaigns across different networks.

The latest round of financing was led by Shasta Ventures Management, Austin Ventures and Sierra Ventures. These funds will partly be used to accelerate development of the Adometry Attribute platform, through which marketers can analyze and optimize the performance of their cross-channel marketing campaigns.

Paul Pellman (pictured), CEO of Adometry, comments: 'We are humbled by the overwhelmingly positive feedback we've received thus far and look forward to delivering even greater value through our Attribute platform by offering new capabilities and features in the coming year.'
