TEOCO Rolls Out Location Ad Targeting Tool

Telecoms sector analytics provider TEOCO has introduced a tool called INrange Analytics, using its recently launched location analytics capabilities to identify subscriber travel patterns and deliver targeted mobile ad campaigns.

John DevolitesINrange predicts where opted-in customers are likely to be at any given time, to enable offers to be sent to them before they make purchasing decisions. The tool repurposes operators' existing subscriber data, and applies a variety of geolocation, temporal and 'geoclustering' algorithms. INrange then computes a predictive score for where a mobile device will be at any given time.

VP and General Manager John Devolites explains: 'INrange provides a multi-level opt-in mechanism directly controlled by the subscriber for more relevant offers, while respecting customer privacy and mobile marketing guidelines. We believe INrange is a game-changing approach for operators to monetize information assets unique to the operator community.'
