Centris Marketing Science Names President

US-based Centris Marketing Science, which specializes in providing market intelligence to the entertainment sector, has named Steve Ennen as President, with a remit to develop new markets, products and services, while delivering consumer behavior insights.

Steve EnnenPhiladelphia-headquartered Centris provides ongoing survey programs and econometric modeling services to the cable, broadcast telecomm, satellite, entertainment, marketing, and wireless industries. The firm, which is owned by market research company AUS Inc., focuses on helping clients understand their market share, consumer shifts, and economic impacts.

Ennen (pictured) most recently served as President and Chief Intelligence Officer at digital and social media analysis and market intelligence firm Social Strategy1. Prior to this, he spent many years in the academic sector, most notably at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, where he founded and served as MD of the Wharton Interactive Media Initiative and Wharton Lab for Innovation in Publishing.

Commenting on his new role, Ennen said: 'With its team of world-class econometricians, modelers and savvy in data integration, Centris is positioned to become one of the world's top providers of user behavior insights related to content consumption. I am fortunate and excited to work with such an esteemed group.'

He replaces William Beaumont, who left the company last year to set up his own management consultancy.
