Klout Launches Influencer Data Portal

US-based social media analytics firm Klout has released 'Klout for Business', a portal and suite of tools available free and promising to help businesses measure the impact of online influencers on their brands.

The new release features a dashboard showing levels of engagement with influencers, the latter's degree of influence and their age, sex, location and key topics, along with the networks the brands perform best on.

In a blog post, VP of Business Development Matthew Thomson says the new tools will give users 'a complimentary set of analytics with pointed insights into how and where influencers are engaging with their brands in social media. According to Klout, eighty percent of all influencer impressions are made by only six percent of the people on social media, and the firm's Klout Score and Klout Perks tools help users identify those individuals and maximise the impact of their social media marketing efforts.
