Maclay Joins TNS as Head of Qual in Middle East

TNS has appointed Doug Maclay as Head of its Qualitative practice in the Middle East, based in its Dubai office, from 19th May.

For more than eleven years, Maclay has run his own consultancy, delivering research-based insights to a wide range of clients. Having begun his market research career at Research International, he then worked for advertising agencies Lintas and Benton & Bowles, and TWBA, before co-founding DRSM (Davies Riley-Smith Maclay), which provided full-service qual and quant ad research fieldwork services.

In his new role Maclay will be responsible for building TNS's qual business in the Middle East, and for leading the local Qualitative team, while working closely with other senior qual practitioners in the region and globally.

He will report to Steve Hamilton-Clark, CEO Middle East & North Africa, who comments: 'We are really lucky to have Doug join the team. He brings with him a wealth of experience in the qualitative space, strong leadership skills and the ability to drive results.'
