John Mackay to Drive MediaAnalyzer UK Launch

John Mackay, the owner of sampling agency Mr Sample, has joined ad optimisation specialist MediaAnlayzer as Business Development Director, to lead the roll out of the company's services across the UK.

John MackayMediaAnalyzer has offices in Hamburg and New York, and representatives in Switzerland, Belgium, and South East Asia, and offers a range of market research and consulting services to help clients optimize their advertising campaigns, packaging and marketing materials. The firm's proprietary online tool AttentionTracking is used to measure what respondents are actually looking at on their screens, while its EmotionTracking service records levels of emotions experienced while viewing a TV commercial or listening to a radio ad.

From next month, Mackay (pictured) will introduce MediaAnalyzer's range of ad testing tools and its consulting expertise to UK advertisers. He joins with a 22-year background in the market research sector, having previously worked for companies such as PAS (now part of TNS), Sample Answers, and icon (prior to its sale to WPP). In addition, he is a past Chairman of AIMRI (the Alliance of International Market Research Institutes) and a co-founder of market research industry networking group the Research Club.
