Country Music TV Hires NBCUniversal's Wyatt

Nashville-based cable TV network Country Music Television (CMT) has appointed Justin Wyatt as Vice President of Consumer Insights and Research, responsible for leading research across all its platforms.

Justin WyattCMT, which is owned by Viacom Media Networks, offers music videos, taped concerts, movies, biographies of country music stars, game shows and reality programs.

Wyatt (pictured) joins from NBCUniversal, where he latterly served as VP, Primary Research Analytics, prior to which he was VP of Research at ABC TV Network. Earlier in his career, he worked agency-side at Frank N. Magid Associates, where he was Executive Director, Research.

Commenting on the appointment, CMT President Brian Philips said: 'We talked to many of the brightest minds in research about this position. The sheer range and depth of Justin's knowledge and experience in television research is stunning. He'll provide essential guidance for the network as we continue to grow.'
