In the US, business intelligence technology firm Geoscape has opened a new division to provide multicultural market research, integrated with its existing data resources and analytics expertise.Based in Miami, the firm currently offers a variety of geo-demographic consumer, business and media databases, as well as analytics and research services. The new unit will provide a wide range of primary research services, leveraging the company's existing data and technology. The division will be led by Hispanic and multicultural specialist Raul Lopez, who joins from Phoenix Marketing International where he led the Multicultural unit. He will be supported by Senior Client Advisor Jeronima Pilar, who also joins from Phoenix.
Founder and CEO César Melgoza comments: 'Geoscape has provided research services for many years, but we have done so in response to specific client requirements such as consumer segmentation and to fill knowledge gaps - never leading with primary research. Now our business model has evolved to include automated market intelligence plus a range of services that build upon each other. We feel we can really add value for our clients using a combined analytic approach.'
