CrowdLab Upgrades Mobile Research Platform

August 9 2013

In the UK, mobile research firm CrowdLab has updated its platform with the addition of several new functions, while introducing a 'white label' version to enable agencies to build their own branded apps. In addition, the solution is now available in 'any language'.

Richard OwenLondon-based CrowdLab, which is currently planning to launch in the US market, was set up in 2011 by former Hall & Partners Innovation Chief Richard Owen (pictured), to offer a mobile sampling and research platform as well as full qual/quant agency services.

The new version allows drag and drop questions, and push survey notifications that can be pre-scheduled or delivered on the fly, along with standard e-mail and SMS options. In addition, new dashboard functionality allows for real-time filtering and sorting of results, with views and content available for participants, researchers and clients.

Owen comments: 'Our underlying mission is to do whatever it takes to drive research forward, so the functionality upgrades allow for ever more sophisticated projects to be taken out on mobile, rather than simply putting short online surveys on phones.'
