SHP Hires Analytics Industry Veteran Alex Kormushoff

US healthcare data analytics and benchmarking firm Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP) has appointed analytics industry veteran Alex Kormushoff as President.

Alex KormushoffSHP uses a dynamic dashboard that integrates healthcare related data from various sources, to enable clients to compare their current and past performance.

Kormushoff (pictured) joins with more than 30 years' analytics sector experience. Most recently, he worked at Accenture Analytics as Global Growth and Strategy Leader. Prior to this, he was SVP of Global Operations at SPSS, where he established the enterprise predictive analytics business and was instrumental in the firm's 2009 sale to IBM. Earlier in his career, he held exec roles at Sapient and Digital Equipment Corporation.

In his new role, Kormushoff will be responsible for scaling operations to support SHP's growth in the home health and hospice market, while leading the company's expansion into new healthcare markets. He will divide his time between the firm's existing Santa Barbara and new Boston offices.
