Symphony EYC Launches Retailer Targeting Platform

November 19 2013

Big data customer insights provider Symphony EYC has launched a loyalty campaign management and analytics platform called Engage, to help retailers identify and target their most valuable customers.

Symphony EYC Launches Retailer Targeting PlatformSymphony EYC was formed at the end of last year, through the merger of Aldata and EYC - previously sister firms within the Symphony Technology Group. The firm uses customer insights to help retailers optimize multi-channel customer engagement strategies, assortment, merchandising, marketing, inventory fulfillment and store operations.

The new 'Symphony EYC Engage' taps into purchase history, preferences and interests data, to enable retailers to engage the right customers at home, in store, at the checkout or while on the move. Features include targeting software to help better understand and group customers for segmentation; real-time or asynchronous transaction processing and analysis; and a communication channel which allows retailers to connect with their customers at any time, even while they are shopping.

David Gentry, SVP Retail Solutions, says the platform 'removes the potential for fragmented decision making'. He adds: 'This enables organizations to manage customer relationships and run tailored campaigns across channels - online, in-store, mobile - as well as preventing sub-optimal performance of individual channels.'
