Cogenta Rolls Out Multi-National Pricing App

Retail intelligence technology firm Cogenta has launched a multi-national version of its pricing app, to enable international retailers, manufacturers, brand managers and researchers to monitor consumer goods pricing data in 23 countries around the globe.

Adrian HobbsCogenta's competitive intelligence service helps UK retailers track price, stock and delivery information and promotional activity for retail products across a wide range of categories. The firm also produces consumer shopping apps, and tracks shopping behaviour to enable brands and retailers to communicate with and target new audiences via their mobile devices.

Users of the newly upgraded 'Retail Insight' platform - which can now manage price data collection in 'any' language - have access to global pricing analysis based on the latest international market trends and competitive behaviour. The system also allows users to refresh their pricing multiple times per day if required.

CEO Adrian Hobbs (pictured) comments: 'By working closely with those customers who have extensive overseas requirements, we have now been able to extend our platform and offer an international solution across 24 major economic centres. This allows retailers to gain a level of insight that previously did not exist, while opening channels for us with major international brands operating across multiple countries along with retail groups with multinational interests, analysts and market research firms.'
