ALG Research Names Four New Partners

In the US, public opinion and political polling specialist ALG Research has promoted four of its execs to Partner status.

Founded in 1994, ALG (named after its three original Partners, John Anzalone, Jeff Liszt and Lisa Grove) specializes in surveys and focus groups, strategic research and analysis, and consulting for political campaigns, organizations and corporations. The firm also has offices in Montgomery, AL, New York City and Lanai, Hawaii.

Matt Hogan, who has more than ten years of polling experience, currently heads ALG's Washington DC office. In 2012, he was instrumental in ALG's polling for Obama for America in the key states of Florida, Virginia, Nevada and North Carolina, and in 2014 he will poll for the Crist for Governor (FL) and Fitzgerald for Governor (OH) campaigns.

Zac McCrary has been with the company for eight years, and has more than eleven years' experience as a political strategist. In 2014, he will poll for Mike Ross for Governor (AR), Jason Carter for Governor. (GA), and Gwen Graham for Congress (FL). Before joining the company, he served as Communications Director at the Alabama Democratic Party.

In her more than eight years as a pollster, Molly Murphy has conducted extensive research and strategic polling for progressive issue organizations. Since 2011, working with the Rockefeller Family Fund, Murphy has been an integral part of the team to pass Sick Day legislation across the country.

Brian Stryker has more than ten years of experience in politics and plays a key role in the firm's international work, overseeing polling and focus group projects in more than 100 countries. His role includes advanced statistical analysis, turnout modeling, and disparate survey methods such as cellphone, Internet, text-message and face-to-face polling - including hard-to-reach audiences such as low-turnout elections and polls of small geographic areas.
