MR Staff Recruitment Firm Sparkle Launches in London

Former Stopgap recruiters Kathy King and Janet Chambers have launched their own recruitment agency, Sparkle, which will work on permanent and freelance market research and insight roles at all levels.

King worked until recently for recruitment agency Stopgap, having previously held senior marketing and business development roles at a number of firms, including Strategic Director at specialist pharma ad agency Leo Burnett/Lifebrands. Earlier, she was a Director at marketing, MR and business development agency AGORA.

Chambers joined Stopgap in 2012, from Saatchi and Saatchi, where she worked for six years, and latterly served as an Account Director. Before this, she was a Campaign Manager for BT, and an Account Manager at direct marketing agency Evans Hunt Scott.

The new firm will be working on a variety of positions, including analysis, statistical modelling and shopper research as well as qual and quant insight roles.

Commenting on the launch, King explained: 'Clients told us they wanted to work with professional and knowledgeable recruitment people who will take a thoughtful approach to the recruitment process and save them time. We're delighted that this has been reflected in the number of fabulous clients who have already briefed us.'
