ABI Hires Robotics Expert

Technology specialist ABI Research has appointed robotics industry analyst Dan Kara as Practice Director, with a focus on robotics innovation across a variety of sectors such as consumer, construction, healthcare, education and agriculture.

ABI provides analysis and quantitative forecasting of trends in global connectivity and other emerging technologies, from offices in North America, Europe and Asia.

Before joining, Kara (pictured) co-founded MYRIA RAS, a research and advisory service focused on automation, robotics and intelligent systems trends; and was President of media and research firm Robotics Trends, which served the personal, service and mobile robotics markets. In addition, Kara was developer and Chairman of the RoboBusiness, RoboDevelopment, and RoboNexus conferences and expositions, and published the online portal RoboticsTrends.com.
