Pharma Services Firms Partner in Japan

December 1 2014

Healthcare and pharma firm Indegene, whose services include marketing solutions, has partnered with Tokyo-based pharmaceutical sales support and MR services company CareNet, Inc.

CareNet's solutions include MRPlus, which delivers online pharmaceutical information to physicians; online research product e-research; and medical content services for doctors and healthcare workers. Indegene, which itself offers marketing, regulatory and education solutions as well as analytics, currently has offices in the USA, UK, China, India and Australia, and will use the deal to expand its presence in the region, while CareNet will expand its portfolio of services.

Indegene Global CEO Manish Gupta praised CareNet's 'exemplary service and leadership on the ground in Japan'. Motoyasu Ono, President & CEO of CareNet, said of the deal: 'CareNet has been contributing to clients in the pharmaceutical marketing field by utilizing its membership network of over 120,000 physicians and high-quality contents... I strongly believe, by presenting a variety of Indegene's multichannel marketing solutions to our clients in Japan, we may bring innovation in marketing to physicians and patients.'
