Charterhouse Research Names New Director

In London, financial services specialist Charterhouse Research has appointed Teresa McGarry as a Director.

City of London-based Charterhouse conducts ad hoc research and offers access to a number of continuous syndicated surveys. These include the Business Banking Survey of more than 17,000 businesses a year; the Customer Contact Survey which tracks early 40,000 bank customer contacts annually; and the Mortgage Intermediary Survey.

McGarry (pictured) joins after fourteen years at transportation research specialist Accent, where she latterly served as an AD, focusing on both qual and quant work. Prior to this, she was a Senior Researcher at The Research Partnership and at NatCen (National Centre for Social Research), and she served as Senior Research Officer at Dorset Social Services.

Commenting on the appointment, MD Julie Irwin said: 'Teresa is a true research expert and her experience in research in the service sector combined with her capabilities in both qualitative and quantitative research makes her an ideal fit for our expanding ad hoc research business.'
