Enlight Gets Funds for 'Board Brief' Platform

In the US, intelligence management software firm Enlight has raised $1.4m in seed funding, which it will use to launch its platform and to scale research and sales.

Founded in 2011 and based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Enlight offers a platform for the Board room, through which its team of research analysts provides relevant news, competitor and market insights and data in one place and in real-time. This platform is called the 'Board Brief', and comes in the form of a customizable iPad app tool, with data updated 24/7.

New funding comes from Clarkston Consulting and Farient Advisors. Enlight CEO Tom Finegan (pictured) comments: 'From our discussions with customers, prospective customers, partners and advisors, we know that executives and Board members alike want and need real-time intelligence to take advantage of opportunities. Enlight's vision is to provide that intelligence in easily accessible and digestible ways.'
