Publicis Buys Shopper Marketing Agency Vivid Brand

Marcoms network Publicis Worldwide has acquired London-based shopper marketing agency Vivid Brand. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Andy ScottFounded in 1991, Vivid Brand delivers shopper research, strategic planning, visual identity systems, in-store communications, digital shopper marketing and packaging design through a team of twenty based in London, Singapore and Melbourne. The firm uses insight into brands and consumer behaviour to create retail experiences that drive purchases and build long-term loyalty.

Following the acquisition, Vivid Brand will form a new agency - with the same name - within the larger Publicis UK network. The business will be led by Guy Wieynk, Group CEO of the UK and Nordics at Publicis, while the firm's existing team including founder and CEO Andy Scott (pictured), MD Gideon Karmiloff and Planning Director Matt Miles will remain in place and report to Wieynk.

Commenting on the acquisition, Scott said: 'This partnership will create more opportunities to deliver world-class shopper strategy and campaigns for our clients globally. Working with our new partners we intend to embed Vivid's shopper methodology across the network so that all our collective clients benefit.'
